Hunting - Dingo's Style

Everyone likes a big bang, right?

So you won't be surprised to find that the majority of Dingo's love to hunt, and the bigger the shooter the better right?. No.

The thing is, bigger isn't always better*, and that's one of the many tips we'll give you, along with the promised cool pics.

There are so many ugly, mean critters out there... but as well as us Dingo's, there are mobs, too. So you need to be ready to protect yourself and your friends, and we'd like to help you. Tips will be added when people write them. Honest. Eventually!

Hunting - Tips and Tricks

So this is what you might be tempted to say... and this is why it's stupid!

You say:

I'm going to go buy the biggest gun I can find and shoot the cr*p out of everything!

We say:

Numptie! Buying the biggest gun is a waste of PED if you're just starting out. You can't just fire anything! You have to have the skills, and that means hard work. We all had to do it (looks round at those who bought skill implants and shakes her head). You need to start with a weapon that matches your skills and as your skill increases, so can your gun, or sword, or knife, or whatever. You may find a gun that's huge and burn away all your PED firing it, or it may simply not work. You have been warned.

You say:

I've got this whip in my starter pack and I thought it was really neat, until I tried to kill a mob with it. It didn't do a single point of damage! Should I TT it, or sell it to some unsuspecting soul?

We say:

Well, that's a fine attitude! Lay it on someone else, huh? Caveat Emptor, I guess, but really? In fact, someone else would probably love it*, because they know it's only for taming animals, not killing them. Go away and read about taming to find out which mobs you can use it on (see this link)... or pass it on to someone who wants to use it.
